We are learning to write metaphors, similes and personification.

Personification is when you give an object a human action.

The Storm

The storm is a stealthy panther,

Wild and furious,

It  crouches and backs up,

Black as the clouds,

Growling as loud as the wind beneath trees

Attacks and eats all houses,

Destroys the land leaving paw marks,

Untamed, wild, grumpy,

Trees destroyed, rivers flooded

Landscape has changed, rivers are muddy,

Talofa lava, my name is Ella-Jaye. I`m a year 5.  I go to Waitohu School and I`m in room 6.  I live in sunny Otaki.  My best friend`s are Ailie, Joy, Summer and Shyne.  My favourite food is watermelon, pizza, donuts, strawberry jam roll and my favourite drink is watermelon water and lemonade.  My favourite animals are kittens, puppies, pandas, cheaters, tiger cubs, and calves.  I have no siblings but I have my mum by my side all the time when i`m sad and happy.  My biggest fear is my house burning down, my kitten in heaven, my parents in heaven.  If you are wondering what the time is in NZ just find out.
