White hat- list what you have been learning in class this week  

fancy dress dance, calendar art, measurement volume, Doug dragster,basic facts, tessellations, Myth writing.

Yellow hat- what has gone well with your learning this week? 

Tessellations because i have finished my draft and finished my published. Myth writing because i’m just a pinch away from finishing. Fancy dress because i love dressing up and dancing and having fun with my family. Calendar art because i’m finished.

Black hat- what has not gone well with your learning this week? 

Doug dragster because i don’t listen to the story. Measurement volume because it’s hard to understand. Basic facts because i don’t like doing test’s.

Green hat- what can you do better next time? 

Listen to the doug dragster story, Try and understand, And get all the test’s out of the way.

Singing because it really fun to Experience new songs & Fitness because I’m learning to try new things like side running and jumping over cones.

Black hat - What has not gone well with your learning this week?

 Maths because learning Tessellations lately is very hard because sometimes I can forget very easily.

Green hat - what can you do better next week.

I can make a poem about Tessellations or I can make a rhyme or Rap about tessellations.

Kia ora,
 My name is Ella-Jaye.  I am from New Zealand and I can speak a little bit of Maori.  I am 10 years old so I’m year 6 and I was born March 4th on my nana’s  birthday.  I go to Waitohu School in a little town called Otaki.  My friends that I made this year are Lia and Jessica.  Lia is Australian/Italian and Jessica well I don’t really know. My only Boy best friend’s are Trishik and Ronan.  I am in room 3 and my teacher is Mr Ward.  Mr Ward is sporty, fun and the best at helping and teaching.  My favourite subject is Maths and reading.  My sport is Wrestling and my modern thing to do is singing plus dancing.  My favourite food and drink is watermelon and juice.  I love cats but not mostly dogs.  I love watching youtube.  My favourite place to go is Staglands in upper hutt, if you haven't been you should because it’s really cool.  I have one cat called ash and she is one years old.  That’s all I have to say so see ya later.

THE BUSH

One day me and some of my classmates went hiking in a forest.

We hiked and hiked and we slipped but we got to the top of the mountain then we saw a bear taking a bath in a river but there was the most shiniest waterfall ever. Me and Jack went with an instructor to our sleeping place and we also had a hideout so we can see some animals but i hope we can see the bear doing something crazy. We set up our tent and then the bear heard us and came up and tried to attack us so we climbed into the hideout but there wasn't room for all of us so i climbed down to let other people in. I tried to make the bear go away but it didn`t  so all of the people in the hideout came down. We all got in a big line and roared so it can go away it did after two roars so after it left we made our tents “ again”. It got dark and we had some food and went to bed. The next morning we got ready and packed our bags and hiked back to our school bus. We got on the school bus and went home.
